Bhaitbari (Wadagokgre) Archaeological Ruin

This ruin was known to be one of the biggest cities and religious centre in the 4th Century A.D.- a civillisation borne out of the river Brahmaputra, whose course once flowed through this area. This ruined twonship was a mixture of both Hindu and Buddhist citizens, and also practised a fusion of both these religions.
